assemblages

david and louise rosenfield must be really cool people.

anyone who has collected 1,864 ceramics by 413 different artists is very cool in my book. and they’ve (in the process of) lovingly photographing and cataloguing the entire collection: respect.

artists from top to bottom:

1. pieter stockmans 2. nancy barbour 3. will ruggles & douglass rankin 4. ted adler 5. james olney 6. virginia marsh 7. deborah swartzkopf 8. ryan mckerley

*

incidentally, 1,864 is about the same number of words that i still have to write in my essay (chapter) that is due next week… a sign?

*

also: if you haven’t done already, please do yourself a favour and download olafur arnalds’ songs that i mentioned yesterday: they’re just getting better and better every day…
