this is a picture of my life.
not really – did i fool you? – but it may as well be.
i call it ‘should be heaps of fun but neglect has left it otherwise’. or, perhaps, ‘too much to do, and too little time, and who knew that a masters degree involved so much work? and i’ve had ear infections on-and-off for more than three months now, body; sort that shit out. and the weather’s warming up; i just want to be outside, etc. etc. etc, repeat to fade, end scene’.
but, ultimately, this blog is proving to be too much of a time-sucking distraction.
i have a 10,000 word assignment due in a month: i’ve written just over 2,000 words.
i need a break; i need to focus. i need to wake up and knuckle down and stop being distracted.
so that’s what i’m going to do.
i’m taking a break, not forever, but from posting as frequently.
wish me luck: i need it!!

i wish i could lose my to-do-list and that nest up there seems like it would make the perfect hiding spot!
hurry, get it done, come back soon and good luck.
lovely visual metaphor, in all its myriad meanings.
good luck with the writing assignment; procrastination is a bitch, but it always seems to get done, somehow.
good luck!!!! :)
i know how much work a master’s takes… and yes, i know how much threat a blog/internet is to one’s being focused… keeping my fingers crossed!
hugs,
