not much: due on friday, and i’m probably about 90% done, plus a bit of an edit of what i’ve already written.
i got my boyfriend to read over it and he said ‘you seem to have a fear of using the same word twice; it looks like you’ve hit the thesaurus too much!’, so it seems that editing is called for!!
but the last 10% is the hardest, i think. i always leave the tricky bits to the end, and then end up rushing and forgetting something important because of it..!
Ooh how exciting! Nearly done! The last bit is always the hardest, but you are almost there.
I am also guilty of not using the same words twice (particularly to introduce new evidence – also, in addition, additionally, secondly, finally, etc, etc.). But you have to do it! And when you read it over again you always tweak it a bit (every time, and eventually you just have to stop reading it because it’s probably FINE).
Hey, I want to invite you to a launch party for a new retail space in South Melbourne that I am working on, but I can’t find your email address anywhere on here (by design, perhaps?). Are you able to send me an email to simple.precious@gmail.com (if you think you might want to come, of course)?
oh lord. This looks delicious.
What’s left of you assignment now?
